'STARTER Gives Great Emergence'

Cropping for over 40 years in Kindred, Tasmania, Neil Johnson turned his attention to liquid nutrition with ECTOL, following the recommendation of his agronomist, Tim Walker.

After several years of ongoing use, a number of products from the range have become integral to his operation.

Speaking about his pyrethrum, poppies, carrots and potatoes, Neil shared his recipe for a robust, healthy crop.

"Before the crops are planted, I use STARTER (10L/Ha), as I find it gives great emergence.

This is followed by Protect and Grow (5L/Ha) from burn off, and I use this right through, every second spray.

When timely, we efficiently spray these liquids out with fungicide, as they're compatible and we've found the process to have no issues.

Once we start to get a bit of size in the plants we add NitrotainTE27 (5L/Ha), as we find that really keeps the crop growing."
